Red Hawk Motor Glider
Bob Grimstead will be displaying his beautifully designed Fournier RF- 4 Redhawk in an eye-catching display set to music. This graceful aircraft creates a ballet in the sky with the wingtip smoke painting its aerobatic movements

RF-4 : Aerobatic version of the RF-3, was designed by Rene Fournier in 1966. Initially 3 aircraft including the prototype were manufactured in France. But in all, 173 aircraft of this type were made the balance under licence by Sportavia, a company which became part of the VFW-Fokker Group.
The RF4 has a Maximum air speed of 115mph
In 1968 a RF-4, mounted with a 39 hp Volkswagen engine crossed the NorthAtlantic returning to Germany in 1969. It claimed the record for the smallest aircraft which was ever flown across the North Atlantic.
